Sigma Communication Systems CC was founded in 2003 by Dr. Gary Hoile and Ron Piper, both engineers with extensive experience in the design and manufacture of military communication systems. Ron Piper first founded PR Electronics and has been manufacturing communications equipment since 1995. In 2010, Ron bought out Gary Hoile and merged PR Electronics into Sigma.
All products are designed and manufactured in-house at our facility in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal — from first prototype through to production. We began exporting to Australia in 1999 and have supplied internationally ever since, with products now installed in around 15 countries worldwide.
